For over two years, Morningside Village has benefited from the discussions and activites of its Steering Committee. It consists of a group of volunteers who are able to contribute to the smooth running of the program. Current active members are Barbara Alper, David Broad, Erin Broad, Rob Hornsby, Denyse Kapelus, Tom McGovern, Francoise Noble, Rebecca Nieubuurt, Erica Teutsch, and Irene Zola.
LiLY’s Board of Directors is pleased to know that the MV Steering Committee is able to initiate steps that are maintaining and continually improving the smooth running of our signature program. Currently, among other things, it is taking steps to
-recognize volunteers for the efforts,
-be sure that our seniors’ needs are met, as well as possible, during the winter holiday season, and
-improve volunteer reporting back on frequency of visits to their specific seniors and changing needs.
